This is a Cenotaph for Ralph . He was on board a B-39 #44-83942 serving in the 411th Bomber Squadron, 502nd Bomber Group Very Heavy, US Army Air Force. The plane took off from the Philippines to Guam and disappeared over the Central Pacific with all hands (10 total) on board lost. There is also a memorial for him in the Manila American Cemetery & Memorial in Manila, Philippines
