Though this headstone is broken and partially burried, the inscription is still available, it reads; " Here lyes the body of, Mrs Esther Walker, wife of Mr. Edward Walker, who departed this life Sept 23, 1761. Aged 65 years." Esther is the daughter, and third child, of Benjamin Pierce Sr and Mary Reed Peirce, born Oct 25, 1696. She married Edward Walker Mar 31, 1718. They had nine known children.
